I have a strong urge to dye a block streak of pink in my hair? How can i do it?

I want it to be black ish pink. But my hair's dark brown at the mo. So i won't need to bleach it will i? Will the colour wash out after a few washes. And look a nasty colour?

You will have to bleach the section of hair first in order to achieve the pink hair. Remember that bleaching is not safe for all hair types. It can make the hair very brittle and cause breakage.


Once you take the color out, you will need to use a rinse (semi-permanent) such as Jazzin, to achieve the pink color hair. The rinse will come out after a few shampoos however, you can apply more rinse to achieve the shade you want.

Why don't you just buy a pink clip in extension? These cost just £2.50 and never fade.





If you insist of dyeing it, you can get a shocking pink dye that wll not require any bleaching. This dye does NOT last long and will leave your hair a lot lighter in this part - not recommended.
Reply:to get that pink dye to stay you first have to bleach out the strand, then go back over it with pink dye





it will only stay bright pink for a few washes, you have to keep going over the strand every few weeks with more neon
Reply:i used to have 2 bright pink flashes in my hair,i first had to bleach the two areas i wanted done and then put the pink dye on them.there is permenant pink dye that you can buy and this doesnt wash out.

the only people who gave a chance at this are naturally light brown to medium blonde hair
