What can I do with used pink fish gravel?

I have about 30 lbs of pink fish gravel and it seems like a waste to just throw it away. Any ideas?

What can I do with used pink fish gravel?
Use it as a top dressing or mulch in your potted plants (inside %26amp; outside) This will keep weeds down and help with water retention in the potting mix. You can also add a couple of handfulls in any new potted plantings you are going to create in the near future. The large diameter of the rock will help with keeping the soil loose and will allow oxygen to reach the rootzone for healthy plants. It will also help with soil compaction. You can also spread a little in your beds around the yard to give it a colorful appearance...

Reply:Use it in the bottom of flower pots to aid in drainage. That's what I did with a big bag of used blue fish tank gravel.
Reply:mulch around your house plants or even your outdoor plants.

The remaining fishy anything will only help to fertilise, and it will look really pretty
Reply:I use aquarium gravel to create humidity trays for orchid plants. I fill a saucer with the gravel and then fill it in with water and put the potted plant on top. Orchids like humidity but don't like to have their roots actually sitting in water. It would work for any plants that like humidity.
