How do I get rid of a pink chapstick stain? (My load of dried whites is now polka dots!)?

Unfortunately I missed the pink chapstick and it went into the dryer. My load of nice whites are now stained with pink dots. Is there anything that I can do to get them out? I am currently trying warm water and bleach. HELP!!!

soak them in warm water with pleanty of regular dish soap overnight, ring them out and wash them as normal.

chapstick is usually a glycerin base, you need a product that will break down the large carbon chains (like grease). Dish soap is exceptionally good at that.
Reply:At Home Depot in the pool supplies, the bleach that you use for the swimming pool, liquid chlorine,1/2 cup to your wash load. Talk about bright whites, wow..
Reply:try soaking in diluted vinegar and red wine
Reply:Soak it for a couple hours in bleach with water that should do that trick
Reply:use that one bleach pen...or just dont worry polka dots are in right now lol
Reply:Palmolive or Dawn will break up the waxiness, use a 1/4 cup of ammonia in the wash load (do not mix with bleach) to remove many stains.
Reply:Rit is the answer my friend, you can find it in most super markets and in walmart in the laundry section. Get whitener and brightener there is also a stain remover, you just use it as laundry detergent and its around $2
