How do you get pink out of your clothes?

I washed a load of white clothes and there was a sweat shirt in the wash that was red .It turned everything pink i tried bleach and it doesn't want to come out.Is there any hope?

It's called colour run and Stain Devils do one just for that. I think other makes do too but not sure which ones.

Reply:Doubtful, I have yet to find a cure for that one. I've tried bleach, (more than reccommended), soaked ovrnight, Oxyclean, (same) and soaked overnight. It gets some of the pink out, but not all of it. If you consistantly wash with Oxyclean and Era, it does eventually fade out over time. Otherwise, good luck.





One thing I did learn, is Tommy Hilligger clothes, especially red, always bleed in the wash. So if you own any of that brand be extra careful.

Reply:Use Carbona Color Run Remover.


Dissolve in 4 gallons of the hottest water safe for the fabric.


Soak and stir occasionally until removed. Rinse well then launder.
