I have had pinkeye 3 times in the last month. I always complete my antibiotic but it comes back 3 days to a week later. I always throw away my make up I had been wearing. Can I start wearing make up while I am on the antibiotic or until I am finished with it? This pink eye is so frustrating.

I would wait until the pink eye is completely gone. The reoccurence of the infection can be from still using the same makeup that caused it in the first place. This is tough to do, but throw out all of your eye makeup. You will also need to use anti-bacterial soap for any of your makeup brushes (if you have any). I know you spent money on your makeup, but remember that your eye health is more important.
Reply:Pink Eye is very contagious. You not only need an antibiotic but you need antibiotic eye drops. My children have had that many times and passed it on to me. Moms have to cuddle with their sick children and unfortunately it was passed to me. NO you do not need to wear any makeup until that infection is "Completely" healed. Also you may want to call your doctor and explain, that the pink eye starts to get better and you run out of antibiotic before its cleared up. He should have you on an antibiotic at least 2 weeks, and you do need the eye drops also..
Reply:It sounds like you might have an allergic reaction to your makeup. Try a hypoallergenic one. I dont think I would use makeup for at least 3 days AFTER finishing the antibiotic. I would be worried about reinfecting the makeup and then hacing it come back. Check with your local salons or merle norman to see if they have single use make up applicators like at the malls (or go to the mall makeup counters and ask for some)
Reply:Let me approach this from an eye health perspective. True pink eye refers to a VIRAL infection. If a viral infection is what you have then an antibiotic is not doing a thing to cure it. With a viral infection you should have some tearing, possible light sensitivity, and a pink eye that usually starts in one eye and may or may not spread to the other eye. I CAN take months for some viral infections to completely go away. If it is viral you want to wash your hands all the time, wash pillow cases, etc. BE REAL CLEAN. As for treatment, a non-preserved artificial tear helps to flush the virus out of your eyes. There are viral eye drops that are sometimes used in extreme cases but your eye doctor will make that call.
Now, if your pink/red eye is due to bacteria then your antibiotic should be working...perhaps try to use a newer antibiotic like vigamox or zymar. WIth bacterial red eye you should notice a white goopy discharge on your eyelashes or have them stuck together in the morning.
If you are seeing an ophthalmologist or optometrist for this pink eye then i might see somebody different for a second opinion because he may have the diagnosis wrong in terms or viral vs. bacterial.
A red eye can also be cause by allergies...in this case you'll notice lots of itching and tearing. Allergy eye drops such as Patanol will clear your eyes in this instance.

Plan on spending a lot of money. You'd probably be much better off going with a white toilet and put a custom toilet seat on it.

I washed a load of jeans with a red sweatshirt and now they all have a pink "tint" to them....it is light and only shows around the worn washed places in the jeans...they are my favorite jeans....Help!!

it will be harder if not impossible to get it out if you have already dried them because the heats sets in the color just as it does a stain. But maybe you could try Oxy Clean or a generic version of it. I use it for whites that have gotten dingy but I dont want to bleach them and they look great!

To decide if a fabric can be bleached safely, use the test described previously. If the stain is not removed in 15 minutes, it cannot be removed by bleaching and further bleaching will only weaken the fabric.
Caution: Since bleaches can alter the color of a fabric as well as the stain, bleach the whole garment and do not try to bleach just a spot.

It worked for my son, who did the same thing......never, never, never, wash anything red with other things, if you can help it....It will make even a black item, get a funny tint to it....that is if the red is not colorfast.....
My son had pink socks too, and even bleach didn't work......so I got a lot of socks for free!

What do you think should be an age limit to wear the Victoria Secret's Pink line? From seeing how the Pink's clothes and accessories look and how they are worn, it seems like they are for young women.

What are all the lovely pink blossom trees throughout Central London?
My family and I were driving through South East and Central London last weekend, remarking upon and admiring how many of the trees were heavily laden with beautiful pink blossom. The trees largely looked the same in terms of size and shape, colour of blosom etc.
Does anyone know what trees they are?
I thought they looked rather like Cherry trees but my Dad thought it was ridiculous to suggest they might all be cherry trees.

When I wake up, I have a crust that covers the slit on my penis, and if I don't clean it off it hurts when my urine bursts through it. It's reminiscent of the crust that covers one's eyelids when one has pink eye because it's hard to get my slit open, and it's hard to get one with pink eye's eyelids open. I washed it the first day, and this morning the crust wasn't as abundant. It's been happening for 2 or 3 days. Does anyone know what this is?

My mom heard on the news once that the pink mold that is in the shower started by the government testing something (don't have specifics). To dispose of it they dumped it over the SanFrancisco Bay area and further North. Many deaths were caused from this dumping. But, what we're trying to find are the facts. Anyone know about this? Lemon Juice, vinegar, or liquid tide detergent. All will work, the least harmful, the lemon juice..... It will dry out the hair some, but use a conditioner after and all should be fine. If the color isn't all removed add baking soda to the bubbles of the shampoo and apply to the hair, the mixture will be thick. Add a little shampoo if needed. leave on the hair for 5 minutes and repeat as necessary. This also removes build up from hair spray and other hair styling product.

All the color may not come out immediately as it would on other hair types but may fade out more slowly. Candy Cane Recipe
1 cup sugar

1/4 cup water
1/8 tsp. cream of tartar
4 drops oil of peppermint or other flavoring
4 drops red or green food coloring
Grease a hard surface.
Simmer the sugar with the corn syrup, water and cream of tartar until the mix reaches a soft crack stage or about 280 degrees on a candy thermometer. Remove from the heat and add the flavoring.
Divide the syrup in half. Add food coloring to one half; pour out separately onto the greased surfaces. Cool for 1 to 2 minutes. Pull each half separately; roll into 1/2" thick ropes. Twist colored batch around the white batch pulling until the colors adhere. Cut with scissors into 6" long lengths; bend to crook one end.
NOTE: You can find Wintergreen or oil of cinnamon to use as a flavoring. Work quickly to form candy canes or you can form knots.

I just bought a brand new tub of cream cheese. The expiration is not until months later. When I opened it, I saw a few small spots of pink stuff on it. I ignored it thinking it was something from the manufacturers. Today when I opened it, the whole surface was covered with pink spots! Should I be grossed out?!? What on earth is this pink stuff? What is the pink-blooming flower that I see all over the city of San Francisco?
When arriving to the city by air, for example, I notice large patches of "pink" groundcover. I think I was once told that this plant was brought to the region from the Mediterranean. . . . Does anyone know what this plant is called? And even beter how easily available it is to find and plant in a home garden?

These huge evaporation pans, which incidentally also support a lot of wildlife, get high concentrations of brine shrimp. A single brine shrimp is kinda greyish, but when they get together, then wow! you get that bright orangey pink you see.
The brine shrimps are not imported but are native to the bay.

What is it in my water that stains white plastic pink?
My shower is white (not tile, but something like plastic), and I've begun to notice that certain places where water lays for awhile are turning pink. I've also noticed this on the inside of my dishwasher (which is off-white plastic), and on the rim of the nozzel of my sprayer at the kitchen sink. What is it in the water that causes this? Is my water still safe to drink?

You didn't say if you owned your home, if you do I would get a water conditioning company to come test your water, they can recommend what kind of softener you need and ensure it is set to your water needs.
You will find that you use less laundry and dishwashing soap, your clothes are softer and you don't have any build up on the surfaces you mentioned.
You may want to add a reverse osmosis unit under your sink for better tasting water. If you live in Nevada, my uncle owns Las Vegas Water Conditioning I could have his office call you. But if you don't there is nothing to worry about because there are good water conditioning companies all over. im 16.I HAVE DARK BROWN FURNITURE AND floor and i was thinking on painting my a pale pastel pink and geting dark fushia bed sheets. but now. i dont know what to do. i went to target and i saw really cute green sheets with white polka dots. shoud i use those? then maybe i can get a fushia comforter duvet and dark pink sheets and mix it up w/ the green w/ polka dots. would that still look cute? each bed spread set is 50 $ its expensive but u get 2 pillow case, mattres cover and sheets. so i can put 2 pink pillow cases 2 green w/ white dots and pink matress cover and green sheets and dark pink duvet. how can i bring out the light pink into my room again? do polka dots and flowers match? i also bought 2 black and white audrey hephburn posters and im gonna put those into fushia frames. maybe onto the frames i can have an artist paint baby pink flowers and add that green? i also have a chest that an artist will be painting light pink/ dark pink and green flowers on it? will this still match?

I´d choose "French Pink" or "Mission Wildflower" or even a lighter version of "Jamaica Green"...
Then, bedding... I really think that pink and green match... and I think that brown furniture goes with almost everything... I think that you should pick a light green color, a light pink and match them with bright pink... Something really nice to put different colors together is to use decorative pillows... So, if you paint your room a light pink, you could choose a light green bedding, light pink sheets, and then get bright pink, light pink and light green decorative pillows...

So, if you get only one color in the walls, you can use more colors in your bedspread... so, if you get tired of the bedspread color combination, just change it... it´s cheaper than repainting the whole room! Also, if you don´t want dark furniture you can paint it white! It´s not difficult, I have already done it once!

Is your main color deep brown? If so, pink and brown is a good combination. I have always loved brown, cream and turquoise as well.
Keep in mind if you're 16, this is probably the design your room will be in....well, forever. I redid my room when I was 16 and my mother never retouched it. So make sure you do pick out something that you will like, and will continue to like when you go home to visit when you're older.
