How do I go from pink to blonde have tried dying did no good brassy pink on top and hot pink sides.?

I was trying for blonde on top and red underneath and the coloring process for both was going well until I rinsed the color out and the red bled onto the blonde on top and turned it pink...I have tried redying the top blonde and it did no good...My hair is now brassy pink on top and hot pink on the sides? Any answers would be greatly appreciated..

Did you use an ash blonde? Ash blondes will cover/take out red shades alot better than just regular blonde shades.
Reply:If your looking to do this yourself, your best bet is to mix up some bog standard peroxide e.g. creme power and 20 or 40vol peroxide and applying very maticulously over the area you want blonde and waiting until it removes the colour. However, the blonde will most likely (depending on the blonde it was) end up being "bottle blonde". This will probabaly need to be left on for a considerable amount of time, I found I had to leave mine on for around 40 minutes when trying to take out light brown, but the time difference does differ greatly between individuals hair.

There is professional stripping agents, however these need to be used with caution as they can completley reck your hair and you will most likely need to apply a blonde dye over the top. Although peropxiding it isn't going to do much good either.

Otherwise it may be a trip to the hairdresers to get it corrected if you don't want to risk it.
