What is the life span of the Brazilian Salmon Pink Birdeating tarantula?

I am planning on getting a Brazilian Salmon Pink Birdeating tarantula, and I was just wondering what the lifespan of it was.

What is the life span of the Brazilian Salmon Pink Birdeating tarantula?
Females live about 15-20 years and males live a year or so after reaching maturity.. Depending on how much or how often you feed it could take about 2 years to reach maturity..

You can google it by it's species name- Lasiodora parahybana for more info on them..

They are very cheap as spiderlings and grow fast. In other words, if you're thinking of buying one from a local pet shop for $100, don't. You can get them on arachnoboards.com in the For Sale section for about $7 for a tiny spiderling. It'll look like a regular house spider, but, in a year or two it will be decent size..
