How do you get pink ink out of a tan carpet ?

My granddaughter put pink ink on the carpet in her bedroom.

How do you get pink ink out of a tan carpet ?
Now, this is a situation I have become very familiar with! I've got three little Rug-rats at home, who love to display their "Art" work anywhere and everywhere.....

My 5 year old daughter's favourite Colour is Pink actually, and if it wasn't for this technique, my cream coloured carpet would now be a light shade of pink!

In my experience, this method has proved to be 100% effective every time. Here's how you do it ----

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

* Dry-cleaning fluid

* Cotton balls

* Vinegar

HOW TO APPLY:

1. - Apply Dry-cleaning fluid to a cotton ball and rub it over the stain on your carpet.

2. - Then, apply vinegar to a cotton ball and rub it over the ink stain.

3. - Keep on doing this until the stain is removed.

In my opinion it has proved 100% effective, every time. (many, many times.........) (-:

This technique was taken from a brilliant book, called "Spotless",written by Domestic guru Shannon Lush, a radio personality on ABC local talk-back radio. She answers questions from listeners, regarding all kinds of Domestic Disasters.

Her wealth of Domestic wisdom, tips and techniques have come in VERY handy indeed at our house! The book, co-written by Jennifer Flemming, is THE essential home handbook for any family home. (esp. those with Kiddies!)

Happy Cleaning!

Reply:rub her nose in it and smack her with a newspaper!!
Reply:Dab it with some rubbing alcohol.:)
Reply:Spray with hairspray and then dab with soap and water. Always dab the carpet, never scrub as it messes up the fibers and will force the stain deeper into the carpet.
