How can I tell if my puppy has pink eye or it is just irritated?
I have a 2 month old pitt/catahoula leopard mix puppy, Shep, whose lower eye lid (in the past couple of days) seems to be getting pink. There doesn't seem to be a discharge and it doesn't look like "cherry eye", from what I have seen thru pics on the net. He doesn't paw at his eye and it doesn't look cloudy, but I would like to know if it is pink eye or just something irritating his eye.

How can you make pink hair professional?
I don't mean all over colour, because I'm just dying the tips of my hair pink or pink under my layers(which one should I choose?). But my family on my dad's side is very old-fashioned, like they freaked out when my brother got a stud in his ear. I'm getting my hair done tomorrow, but I'm going to a family reunion type thing a couple days from now, and I'm terrified to see what they'll think or say to me about the pink. So I was just wondering if there were any tips that could make it look more professional?

Well if you did only the tips of the hair that would be easier to hide. All you'd have to do is fold your hair in half inwards. Meaning, hold your hair in a ponytail at the base of your neck and then fold the ponytail so that the ends of your hair are tucked underneath near the base of your neck. Tie it up there with a cute band or clip and your set. It looks neat and professional and the pink is hidden. Good luck :)

When I first went pink I opted for the layers underneath also and told my family that it was vegetable dye so it could be rinsed out quickly if I wanted and that seemed to make them feel better when they knew I would not be stuck with pink hair in 6 months time and hating it (or so they thought - 3 years on am experimenting more lol).

My favourite pink suede handbag is looking faded and generally grubby. Any suggestions on how best to clean it welcome. Tried dry cleaning shops but no one seems to clean suede. Tempted to shove it in washing machine but that's prob a really bad idea!

How do you remove and replace ugly 1950s pink wall and floor tile in the bathroom?
I have a ranch style home that was built in 1958. The bathroom is all original pink 4" x 4" wall tile, and ugly pink floor tile. We have read that we could just get a hammer and begin smashing until all the wall tiles are removed, and also do the same for the floors after the toilet has been removed. O.k., given that there will be a whole load of mess to clean up....what do we do next? The wall tiles emcompass the full permiter of the room and go up the wall roughly 4 1/2 feet. The upper portion of the wall is old drywall. If we remove all the tiles, will we able to use the base underneath the tiles to set new tiles. Or, if that is not an option, do we need to purchase new backerboard or greenboard and put it in place first. The same rings true for the flooring. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. If there is a less expensive do-it-yourself route to refinish the tiles, those suggestions would also be helpful and appreciated.

The house I live in looks like and eater egg. It's a bubble gum pink house with turquoise trim. I can't afford to repaint the whole house at this time, but I can redo the trim.
Is there any color that will help tone down the all that pink?

Personally, I'd go with a soft white or off-white. Nothing too warm but try to stay away from the blinding white...something soft and neutral but definately not a dark or bright color.
I lived near a bubble-gum pink stucco house when I was a kid and the trim was a very soft white. It looked good so the paint didn't look like a horrible accident or like someone played a cruel joke on them.
Stay away from dark or bright as they will make the pink more obvious.
Go to your nearest DIY like Home Depot or Lowes and get some paint chips/samples. Tape them to the exterior of your house and stand back a few steps to evaluate. You'll be able to tell which colors work with the pink and which ones fight with it. Use something complimentary.
If you do this on each side of your house you'll also be able to tell if you like the same color at all times of day and all levels of light.
It won't take long - Good luck!

You may want to try something like opening paint(or a similar program), filling the screen with a color similar to the pink of your house, then looking at other colors in streaks across it...that will give you a small scale visual before you spend the money on the paint , go through the work, and find out it still isn't what you want

if this is a new shirt... or a "oops"... wash it again %26amp; put a little bit of bleach in the water w/ the soap. Old trick my mom told me about when my pink shorts turned from a "oops". It worked. U can even put it in a tub of cold water %26amp; some bleech water if u want to try that as well. But for something new that bled, i usually wash it again %26amp; it comes out. Make sure it cold water. Always cold lst time to make sure it doesn't bleed.

in a pitcher mix HOT water and cascade crystals (not liquid. regular, not lemon scented). pour the hot cascade over the white part of the shirt slowly.

wash with cold water, 1/2 detergent and at least 1 cup of vinegar. it will 'set' the colors.

These chemicals will be deluted as it rains or if you add water to your Aquarium/pond? So you will have to add more of the chemical. There is another alternate, depending on your pump for your tank/Pond? A uv sterilizer will take out the algae as your water is processed threw your filter pump. Check out petsolutions.com or dr fosters and smith.com to look at sterilizers and algae destroying products. good luck

In pigments (painting), your primaries are red, yellow and blue, and the complementaries are green, purple and orange.
The RBG combination refers to computer/TV monitors and CMY are lithography printing primaries - they are not complementary to each other as they refer to different technologies = In other words, the three primaries listed are as different as apples, oranges and bananas.
Nevertheless, pink in any technology is made from Red + white so the only oddball here would be CMY, and that mixture would be M+Y+White (white generally being the blank paper).

How are the colors pink and brown produced?
In pigments (painting), your primaries are red, yellow and blue, and the complementaries are green, purple and orange.
The RBG combination refers to computer/TV monitors and CMY are lithography printing primaries - they are not complementary to each other as they refer to different technologies = In other words, the three primaries listed are as different as apples, oranges and bananas.
Nevertheless, pink in any technology is made from Red + white so the only oddball here would be CMY, and that mixture would be M+Y+White (white generally being the blank paper).
In all technologies there are many different browns - leaning toward blue (shadow), green (new earth), red (rust), yellow (ochre) purple (caput mortuum), orange (clay) In painting, each of these colours is a pigment on its own - but in printing/monitor technology, brown would be produced by a combination of all the primaries in varying degrees so as to lean toward one of the above colours. Equal portions of all 3 primaries will result in black, or something very close to it.

My "carpet guy" came to clean my carpets before Christmas and all he used was a pink cleaning solution in a spray bottle and a scrub brush. At one point I even got down on my hands and knees and helped him it looked so easy. (and it was.) When I asked him what was in the bottle, he said that it was a trade secret. Now I am dying to know! I want some to use myself, we have 4 children, so you can imagine the spots we encounter!

Can you cover a pink champagne cake with fondant?
I want to make a pink champagne cake (it sounds cool) and I wanted to use fondant as the frosting, but will the fondant be too heavy for the cake? I'm inexperienced when it comes to cakes but I'm not half bad at making them. I'm trying to make a cool creative cake so I was just curious. And does anyone have a recipe for a fresh cut strawberry cool whip recipe for the filling between layers?

On a very important exam, you make a mistake, and you turn your pencil around and rub out the mistake. But instead you are left with this bright pink mark. Whats the point of those erasers?

Pink walls with leopard print accesories okay?
Alright well basically i was planning on moving rooms in my house without having to change anything other than the wall color. so my question is, if i were to paint my walls pink would a leopard print bedspread and accessories look strange and out of place? also what color of pink would look good?

Can anyone tell me the difference between the color pink and the color strawberry? I thought that the color for strawberry is red, but it is actually pink (such as the LG Verizon Wireless cell phone. It is pink, but why are they calling it strawberry, instead of pink). For example, does pink Converse shoes means that it is also considered strawberry color? I am so confused. Any suggestions?

How long after I start the drops for pink eye will my eye stop being pink?
I started the drops Saturday night... but my eye is still pink. Not pussing and only draining clear in small amounts, but it's still pretty pink. Is that normal? I thought the first thing that happened was the pink cleared up.

This would be dependent on how strong the infection is...typically within two days the effect of the antibiotic should start showing...as an added note...if you use Makeup...and used it when you were infected...throw it all out!! Otherwise you will continue to reinfect your eyes!! Very Important side note!! I was an Optician for twenty years...saw this alot!!

I clean my tub and sink often. But I notice if it isn't often enough, there's a pink stain around the tub and under mat.
This also appears on my white dish strainer in kitchen.

Reply:Hello, if you have well water what you are seeing are iron residues, if you have city water there could be contaminates in the water, sometimes algae blooms get in there or it could be from your pipes if you have older plumbing.Hope this helps:-)

If you have a Dollar General Store, they have a product called The Works, Tub and Tile Cleaner. There is also one for the toilet. I've used many products over the years, and this is the best product I have found to clean the tub. If you hang your mat on the side of the tub after showering it will allow the water to drip from it. The Works Tub cleaner will remove the discoloration, and take care of soap scum, etc. It's my #1 pick on tub cleaners.

There is some slimy pink skin in my fish tank, and there there is something growing under it, whenever I poke the side of the fish tank it sucks in sort of like a hermit crab. The pink stuff is growing on a live rock.

A Pink Panther is extremely rare. More rare than a bleeding Stuart Andersons Black Angus steak.
An Aquatic Pink Panther is even more rarerer! So don't poke at it, or you'll make it bleed and It will die. Like the rare steaks, those are served bleeding and dead.
Also, Pink Panthers are endangered, from too many people having poked at them for too many years. Thats why they're protected from pokers and poachers, and from pickers and stickers too.
But Aquatic Pink Panthers are so extremely exceedingly rare, that you won't see one. Even on the endangered species list. Thats how rare they are!
You might have one begining to be born.
Help it to do more borning. As much borning as it can do. Alot of birthing and offspringing too.
Think of it as the last California Condor, not only in California, but in the world. The last World Condor on Earth and in the world too.
And it needs to be born.....without pokeing.
Cuz its not Gumby and Pokey.

If you are planning to handle it rub baby powder over your exposed skin and use a 3m mask to keep the fibers from penetrating your skin. Long sleeve shirts also help. If you get the fiberglass on you DON'T RUB IT. Take a hot shower to wash off the glass fibers

I am 21 years old, and I have a pink room, I am not one of those freaks that have hello kitty every where I just have a light pink room. I just want to know what colors might go best. I was thinking, pink light green and tan? Any advice will help thanks.

It depends a lot on what other hues are in the pink -- there are so many shades! My personal favorite is a combination of creme, earthy pink and a deep, saturated chocolate brown. If you stick too exclusively to that scheme it gets a little too airy and girly, though, so I would add some light blues to the mix. See if that sounds good?
