How do I get my pink sweater to turn white?

I have a pink sweater. It's like a mdeium pink. Not too bright and not too dark. I want to make it white. Do I bleach it? Or dye it? I don't know if stores sell white dye though.

How do I get my pink sweater to turn white?
U should try and bleach it first. If it does happen to turn yellow or doesn't turn white all the way then dye it. Yes, stores still sell dye. Go to Wal-Mart, CVS, Wal-Green's, Target...places like that. The dye is called RIT and they have it in several colors. U can find it on the aisle with the detergents or the shoe dyes.
Reply:Fill a container mostly with water and add just a little bleach. Put your sweater in it and let it sit for a bit. Keep an eye on it. Once it turns white take it out. Then rinse the sweater. Bleach can be very harmful to clothing if its on it to long. If its taking awhile to turn white then add more bleach.
Reply:you can use bleach, but make sure it is diluted so that it doesn't put holes in it. I'm not sure how much to use or how long to soak it, but I would think if you just added bleach to the washing machine water it would probably do it.
Reply:Scare hell out of it.
Reply:I would bleach it.
Reply:How about you just go and buy a white sweater? Wouldn't that be so much easier?
Reply:stand in the snow...then dye it... :):):)

bleach will yellow it...
Reply:I don't know but my wife can turn your white sweater pink.
