Where can I find pink food coloring?

My friends birthday is on Valentines day, and I want to make her pink cupcakes with pink frosting, but I can't find any pink food coloring.

Where can I find pink food coloring?
Wilton makes pink food coloring paste. You can find it in the cake decorating section of Wal-mart or any store that carries Wilton products. You use a toothpick to add it to the frosting.
Reply:Just use a little red food coloring and if you only put a little (like 1 or 2 drops) in white frosting then it will be pink when you mix it up.
Reply:No need for pink.

Just use a bit of red!
Reply:just use white icing and add a little red color to the shade of pink you want
Reply:Buy a can of white frosting and add just a tiny bit of red. Start with one red drop and add as needed!
Reply:use red.
Reply:Use 1 or 2 drops of red in white icing.
Reply:Holy cow---you CAN'T be that dumb!

You use only a couple drops of RED.

Jeeperz....
Reply:I could be wrong, but I don't think there is pink food coloring, you just go light on the red food coloring.

Other than that check with a cake bake shop or a cake baker.
Reply:I add just a tiny bit of cherry jello powder (a really small amount at a time) to make a really pretty pink frosting for my Lady Baltimore cake frosting. Lime is great for green, etc. The watermelon jello is okay but has a little taste that I don't care for (doesn't taste like watermelon--just an insipid taste that is an annoying distraction in the overall frosting taste.) Try it and have fun.
Reply:if Fred Meyer doesn't sell it anymore, then you are going to have to resort to red. You can make light pink, darker pink or even add a scraping from a toothpick of blue for a bit of dark pink, like on the way to purple, in some white frosting.
