Can anyone tell me the difference between the color pink and the color strawberry?

Can anyone tell me the difference between the color pink and the color strawberry? I thought that the color for strawberry is red, but it is actually pink (such as the LG Verizon Wireless cell phone. It is pink, but why are they calling it strawberry, instead of pink). For example, does pink Converse shoes means that it is also considered strawberry color? I am so confused. Any suggestions?

like strawberries the fruit, its darker than the colour pink.the only diffrence is that the colour straberry is darker than pink more of a redish dark
Reply:strawberry is more red and is used for visual so it is more pleasent. it is just a good word for thing to make people like them.
Reply:It's all going fruity colors... lemon, lime, watermelon. Yeah, email Converse and ask them to send you a pic of it in the email. They'll be glad to or send you the site where you can see the actual shoe. I'm thinking it's a variation of pink. I generally don't buy shoes off the net for that reason. Deceiving it is... then ask Converse to send you a coupon for making it so damn complicated. (grin).
Reply:Because Verizon is going with the theme of Chocolate. (mint, cherry etc.)
Reply:Darling I agree with you so much. I was going to say that strawberry is historically red. But you know due to marketing, it can be blue. You should just believe its red.( I mean the actual straberry is still red as far as I am concerned unless its purple on mars etc) But for marketing purposes, the color strawberry is nything the marketers/advertisers say it is.
Reply:strawberry is a more red colour and pink is a lighter colour
