I work as a housekeeper and the new hotel I'm working at has years old stubborn pink stains which I assume is mould. I have tried industrial strength cleaners such as bleach, alcohol based cleaning products, Shower Power, etc. (with a lot of scrubbing) but nothing seems to work! I've heard of a product called White Wizard which I'm thinking of buying but am not sure if that will work. Please help as I am at the end of my tether.
Thankyou, Jenny
How do I get rid of years old pink stains in the bathroom tiles?
if your talking about vinyl floor covering or vinyl tiles, you can probably forget it...........lot of times the pinkish discoleration that you see is something coming up from under the rug that causes this and the only thing you can do is to treat the floor and put something new down.............seen this at least a hundred times..........
if it actually is something stained on the floor use paint thinner...........usually if that doesn't get it up nothing will.............
Reply:Sounds like the stains have already set in the floor. maybe you should consider re-tiling the floor.
Reply:Might be to late...........stains are set........
Reply:paint, or caulk requick over the area
Reply:You cannot remove those stains.
They are molecularly bound to the material.
This is why you are supposed to seal floors and walls when they are new.
